Star Fruit
Book IconPublished on: 2007.02.28

It has been cultivated since ancient times in the near and far East. Today, star fruit flourishes in south Florida, its best US growing region. A ready-made garnish, the golden yellow fruit, when sliced crosswise, yields perfect five-pointed star shaped sections, hence its name star fruit. Its flavor is a juicy combination of plums, pineapples and lemons. [www.QinSen.com]
