Also called Chinese grapefruit. Like grapefruits, pummelos vary greatly in color, size and shape. It has a thick skin and thick membranes around the inner segments. The pink or white flesh is sweet-tart and less acidic than grapefruit. [www.QinSen.com]

Uses & Preparation:


To prepare: Cut off the ends of the fruit, score the thick skin and peel off pith and rind together in thick pieces. Section like grapefruit.
Use as a breakfast fruit or a refreshing snack.
Add to fruit salads.
